Twenty books, six series, three separate worlds. There is no wrong door. There is a shortest one.
The short version
Everything except True North, Latent Heat and Dispatches From Bad Little Falls is in Kindle Unlimited. Borrow it or buy it. Both work.
Everything below is detail.
Cozy · explicit · omegaverse · novellas · standalone, any order
Ten books in a Downeast Maine town where everyone is a shifter and nobody is surprised by anything. Fated mates, guaranteed happy ending, every book.
This is the world where nothing hurts and everything is beautiful on purpose. It's escapism. It's my happy place.
Cozy is the tone, not the heat. There's penetrative sex on the page, so it gets an explicit rating. Everyone's meter is different. That's the most useful thing I can tell you.
Every book stands alone. In order you'll catch more of the running jokes. Out of order you're still fine.
Start with Different GenusOmegaverse · novels · read in order
Common Ground, Safe Harbor, Tidal Heat and Fox Point share one world: shifters living hidden inside the human one, in Rhode Island. More danger, higher stakes, and plots that build across volumes. Explicit, on the page, start to finish. Nothing fades out.
Read this one in order. The books build on each other and they mean to.
Start with Slack TideSafe Harbor is a love letter to mpreg readers. Skip it and you won't miss any Common Ground canon. Read it and you get more of Tenzin and Rio. Homecoming is the only one so far. There will be more when someone else gets pregnant.
Tidal Heat is character-driven PWP, if that's a phrase you know. If it isn't: short, explicit, and the sex is the point. It works because you've already spent a novel with these people. Optional, same as Safe Harbor. Nothing in Common Ground depends on either. Latent Heat, Caleb and Rowan, is the first one.
Fox Point is a full novel series in the same world. Common Ground is a pack building a family. Fox Point is where the people who couldn't or wouldn't find one ended up. A bar in the working port, regulars who are not upstanding citizens, and a found family anyway. The tone is noir. It is not grimdark. The first novel is Cold Ledger. The second is Bad Debt.
Romantic suspense · not omegaverse · best in order
Two ex-Delta operators, twenty years side by side, newly married, trying to be civilians. It isn't going well. Wolf shifters, established couple, high heat, live ammunition.
No omegaverse here at all. Different world, different rules.
Start with Danger CloseTrue North is the prequel, and it's free with the newsletter, but read it second. It's a sedate story about leaving the military, getting married, and starting out on the road. As a first book it's slow. After Danger Close it's a good wallow with people you already care about.
It stands alone fine. It's a nice story. It's just that, a nice story.
Heat levels and content are on every book, in the description, stated plainly. That's deliberate and it isn't going to change.
